Leading Organisations Through AI Transformation

Swiss-SASEM's MBA in Artificial Intelligence for Business Leaders is a fully prescribed executive programme — every module is purposeful, nothing is optional, because no element of AI leadership can be left to chance. Where the Swiss-SASEM MBA International offers breadth with a chosen specialisation, this programme commits entirely to one mission: equipping leaders to drive AI transformation with strategic confidence, operational command and ethical responsibility.

The programme draws on Swiss-SASEM's established Applied Sciences model — condensed 3-day seminars of 9 hours each, designed for working executives. This intensive format enables professionals to remain active in their roles while acquiring rigorous, applied AI leadership capabilities across all 14 modules of the curriculum.

Every student benefits from Swiss-SASEM's personalised tutorial system: ongoing access to experienced international faculty who guide academic progress, project development and professional growth throughout the 18-month programme. The programme concludes with a 20 ECTS Capstone Project — a structured, real-world AI transformation initiative applied to the participant's own organisation, assessed through a formal written report and live presentation to faculty.

"In a world reshaped by AI, the question is not whether to transform — it is whether you will lead the transformation or be led by it."

Participants graduate with the strategic vocabulary, applied frameworks and decision-making confidence to lead AI adoption responsibly. Whether at the helm of a corporation, a growing venture or an independent enterprise, this programme equips leaders for the challenges that define the next decade.

Curriculum

14 Core Modules + Capstone Project

Fully prescribed · 14 core × 5 ECTS · 20 ECTS capstone · 90 ECTS total

This is a fully prescribed programme — all 14 modules are core. Unlike the Swiss-SASEM MBA International, there are no electives to choose: the entire curriculum is the specialisation. The programme is structured across four strategic domains — AI Strategy & Business Transformation; AI in Operations & Markets; Governance, Ethics & Policy; and Leadership & Organisational Change — designed to build a complete executive AI leadership capability.

The Capstone is supervised throughout by a dedicated faculty advisor. An honours grade on the Capstone is required for an honours degree.

Delivery

Global Delivery Ecosystem

The programme runs over 18 months in a part-time executive format. Participants attend one 3-day intensive seminar per module — typically one per month — each delivering 27 contact hours of lectures, live AI case studies, group work and practitioner sessions. Between seminars, coursework and faculty support are provided through the Swiss-SASEM Moodle platform.

The final three months are dedicated to the Capstone Project, during which each participant develops their AI transformation initiative under the supervision of a dedicated faculty advisor, culminating in a formal written report and panel presentation.

Seminars are delivered across Swiss-SASEM's global campus network. Participants typically attend sessions at their regional campus, with the option to join international seminars at other locations — giving cohorts a genuinely multicultural experience alongside structured local access.

The programme is conducted entirely in English. International faculty and industry practitioners lead each module, with guest speakers drawn from leading organisations across AI, finance, operations and public policy.
